FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Interstat) — Ryan Abelman scored 20 points to lead Northern Arizona to a 79-72 victory over Southeast Missouri State in a non-conference men’s basketball game Wednesday at Walkup Skydome.

The Lumberjacks built a 10-point halftime lead and maintained control despite a second-half push from the Redhawks. Northern Arizona’s efficient offense, which shot 53 percent from the floor, proved decisive. Zack Davidson added 17 points for the Lumberjacks, who improved to 4-2.

Braxton Stacker scored 15 points and Brendan Terry added 14 for Southeast Missouri State, which fell to 2-5. The Redhawks struggled from beyond the arc, making just 5 of 24 three-point attempts.
