Southeast Missouri State at Northern Arizona

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Interstat) — The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, riding the momentum of a high-scoring home victory, will host the struggling Southeast Missouri State Redhawks in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Wednesday.

Northern Arizona (3-2) is coming off a 93-87 win over Cal Poly on Monday. Isaiah Shaw led the way with 22 points and two blocks, while Ryan Abelman added 21 points. The Lumberjacks have found success at home in the Walkup Skydome, including a 108-point outburst against Embry-Riddle on Nov. 18.

Southeast Missouri State (1-4) looks to snap a three-game losing streak after falling 99-70 on the road to Iowa last Tuesday. Luke Almodovar scored 15 points in that loss, with Brendan Terry adding 12. The Redhawks’ sole win this season came against Division III opponent Webster on Nov. 12. Their four losses have all been by double digits.

The game represents a final tune-up for both teams before each embarks on a lengthy stretch of road games. Northern Arizona will begin a four-game trip after this contest, while Southeast Missouri State will play seven of its next eight away from home.

Tipoff is set for Wednesday night at the Walkup Skydome.
