Boston University at Penn State

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (Interstat) — The Penn State Nittany Lions look to rebound from their first loss of the season when they host the Boston University Terriers in a non-conference men’s basketball game Tuesday at Bryce Jordan Center.

Penn State (5-1) saw its five-game winning streak snapped in a 77-65 home loss to Providence on Saturday. Freddie Dilione V led the Nittany Lions with 22 points in the defeat.

Boston University (3-3) arrives with momentum after a 75-74 victory over Harvard, also on Saturday. Chance Gladden scored 20 points and Ben Defty added 16 for the Terriers in the narrow win.

The game pits two teams on divergent trajectories. The Nittany Lions have been strong at home, with previous wins over Harvard and La Salle as part of their hot start. The Terriers have been inconsistent, following a road loss to Columbia with the upset of Harvard.

This matchup begins a challenging stretch for Penn State, which will face Indiana and Michigan State in its next two games after this one. For Boston University, it is the final contest of a difficult early-season road slate before returning home.

Tip-off is set for Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
