NORFOLK, Va. (Interstat) — Elijah Jamison scored 18 points to lead Norfolk State to a 62-60 victory over Hampton in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Friday night at Echols Hall. The Spartans improved to 3-3 while the Pirates fell to 2-5.

The game was a back-and-forth affair, tied 30-30 at halftime. Norfolk State secured the win in the final seconds. Michael Eley led Hampton with 14 points and Daniel Johnson added 15. The Spartans dominated inside, outscoring the Pirates 28-20 in the paint.
