NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Interstat) — Vanderbilt remained undefeated Thursday night, cruising to a 109-74 men’s basketball victory over Texas Southern at Memorial Gym. The Commodores improved to 5-0 behind 20 points each from Tyler Tanner and Tyler Nickel, who also contributed seven and two assists, respectively. Vanderbilt built a commanding 60-33 halftime lead and never looked back, forcing 13 turnovers while committing only six. The Tigers fell to 0-5 on the season. An announced crowd of 5,673 watched the game.
