CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Interstat) — Caleb Wilson scored 23 points to lead North Carolina to a 73-61 victory over Navy in a nonconference men’s basketball game Tuesday night at the Dean Smith Center.

The Tar Heels improved to 5-0, while the Midshipmen fell to 2-3. North Carolina built a 38-31 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half. Austin Benigni led Navy with 19 points and five assists. North Carolina’s defense was key, forcing 13 turnovers and blocking seven shots.
