LEXINGTON, Ky. (Interstat) — Second-ranked Kentucky cruised to a 107-59 victory over Valparaiso in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game at Rupp Arena on Friday. The Wildcats improved to 2-0 behind a balanced offensive attack and a dominant double-double from Georgetown native Malachi Moreno, who scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in just 20 minutes. Otega Oweh led all scorers with 15 points. Rakim Chaney scored 15 points for the Valparaiso Beacons, who fell to 1-1. Kentucky easily covered the 32.5-point spread as the heavy favorite.
