CONWAY, S.C. (Interstat) — Joshua Beadle scored 25 points to lead Coastal Carolina to a 67-62 comeback victory over Appalachian State in a Sun Belt Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at HTC Center.

The Chanticleers trailed 32-26 at halftime but surged with 41 second-half points to overtake the Mountaineers before a crowd of 1,672. Alonzo Dodd led Appalachian State with 21 points and six rebounds. Beadle added seven rebounds and five assists for Coastal Carolina, which evened its overall record to 9-9. Appalachian State fell to 10-8. Michael Marcus grabbed 12 rebounds for the Mountaineers.
