LORETTO, Pa. (Interstat) — Kheni Briggs scored 29 points to lead New Haven to an 81-69 men’s basketball victory over Saint Francis (Pa.) on Saturday at DeGol Arena.

The Chargers improved to 10-12 overall behind efficient shooting, hitting 52.1% from the floor and 50% from 3-point range. The Red Flash fell to 6-15 despite 15 points from Zion Russell.

New Haven led 41-37 at halftime and maintained control throughout the second half. Briggs, who added two assists in 31 minutes, keyed the offense. Jabri Fitzpatrick added 19 points for the Chargers. Ahmad Harrison scored 16 for Saint Francis (Pa.) in the Northeast Conference game before a crowd of 709.
