New Haven at Saint Francis (PA)
LORETTO, Pa. (Interstat) — Two teams seeking momentum in the Northeast Conference will meet Saturday when the New Haven Chargers visit the Saint Francis (PA) Red Flash at DeGol Arena.
New Haven (9-12) enters on a two-game skid, including a 51-70 loss at Mercyhurst on Thursday. The Chargers have shown a pattern of inconsistency, mixing conference wins over Wagner and Fairleigh Dickinson with double-digit road losses.
Saint Francis (PA) (6-14) last played on Jan. 23, earning an 81-60 home victory over Chicago State. The Red Flash have won three of their last five, showing improved form after a difficult non-conference slate that included lopsided losses to Florida and Temple.
A key matchup will feature backcourt standouts. New Haven’s Andre Pasha is coming off a 15-point effort at Mercyhurst and has scored in double figures in five of his last eight games, providing steady backcourt production. For the Red Flash, Chris Moncrief has been a catalyst during their recent uptick, averaging 15.8 points over his last four contests, highlighted by an 18-point performance in the win over Chicago State.
Both teams have struggled to find consistent offense this season. New Haven has been held under 55 points in three of its last six games, while Saint Francis (PA) has conceded 90 or more points three times in conference play.
The Chargers will look to improve their 3-7 road record. Saint Francis (PA) is 4-4 at home this season, with all four wins coming in their last five outings at DeGol Arena.
This is the first meeting between the programs this season. Following this game, New Haven travels to face Long Island on Feb. 5, while Saint Francis (PA) begins a two-game road trip at Mercyhurst on the same date.
Tip-off is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, in Loretto.
