Stony Brook at Campbell
LILLINGTON, N.C. (Interstat) — A surging Stony Brook squad looks to continue its climb in the Colonial Athletic Association standings when it visits a struggling Campbell team on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, at the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center.
The Seawolves (12-9) have won three of their last four, including a 95-80 road victory at Northeastern last Thursday. They are powered by the hot hand of guard Erik Pratt, who is coming off a 31-point, 9-assist performance in that win. Over his last seven games, Pratt is averaging 24 points and 5 assists, including a 39-point, 13-assist outing in a double-overtime win over College of Charleston on Jan. 17.
Campbell (9-12) has lost four straight, most recently an 88-73 home defeat to Monmouth. The Fightin’ Camels have been competitive in conference play, with three of those losses coming by five points or fewer. Guard Jeremiah Johnson has been a consistent scorer during the skid, averaging 16.6 points over the last five contests.
The matchup features contrasting trajectories. Stony Brook’s offense has found a rhythm, scoring 95 and 112 points in its last two wins. Campbell, meanwhile, has struggled to find consistent stops, allowing an average of 84 points during its four-game losing streak.
The game will be a test of Stony Brook’s road form and Campbell’s ability to defend its home court. The Seawolves are 3-5 in true road games this season, while the Fightin’ Camels are 7-4 at home.
Following this contest, Stony Brook travels to Elon on Saturday. Campbell hits the road to face William & Mary the same day.
