DAVIS, Calif. (Interstat) — UC Davis edged Cal State Fullerton 74-69 in a Big West Conference men’s basketball game Thursday night at The Pavilion.

The Aggies led 32-24 at halftime and maintained a narrow advantage throughout the second half, surviving a 19-point performance from the Titans’ Josh Ward. Niko Rocak led UC Davis with 16 points. The Aggies improved to 10-7 overall, while Cal State Fullerton fell to 8-11.

UC Davis capitalized on efficiency, scoring 74 points on 75 possessions and outscoring the Titans 36-24 in the paint. Cal State Fullerton struggled from the free-throw line, making 19 of 32 attempts. Attendance was 1,133.
