TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Interstat) — Aden Holloway scored 26 points to lead Alabama to an 89-74 victory over Kentucky in a Southeastern Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Coleman Coliseum.

The Crimson Tide (11-3) built a commanding 50-34 halftime lead and never trailed. The Wildcats (9-5) cut into the deficit after halftime but could not overcome the slow start.

Holloway added four rebounds and five assists for Alabama. Otega Oweh led Kentucky with 22 points and eight rebounds. Teammate Jaland Lowe added 21 points.

Attendance was 13,474.
