Lindenwood at Texas Tech
LUBBOCK, Texas (Interstat) — The Lindenwood Lions and Texas Tech Red Raiders will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball seasons against each other on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at United Spirit Arena.
Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records. The game marks the official start for both programs following their final contests of the previous season.
Lindenwood last played on March 6, 2025, concluding its season with a 69-55 road loss to Tennessee State. The Lions will begin a challenging early schedule in Lubbock before facing Saint Louis and Indiana later in November.
Texas Tech last took the court on March 29, 2025, in a narrow 84-79 road defeat to Florida. The Red Raiders’ non-conference slate is formidable, featuring upcoming games against Illinois, Wake Forest in The Bahamas, and a December showdown with Duke at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The matchup pits a Lindenwood program from the Ohio Valley Conference against a Texas Tech team from the powerhouse Big 12. The game will be the season opener for both squads as they look to establish momentum for the long campaign ahead.
Tipoff is scheduled for Tuesday night in Lubbock.
