KAZAN, Russia (Interstat) — The Ak Bars look to continue their strong Kontinental Hockey League form when they host the Shanghai Dragons at TatNeft Arena on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.

Ak Bars (20-12-0) enters the contest after a decisive 5-2 victory over SKA Saint Petersburg on Friday. The home team’s offense was powered by Ilya Safonov, Artyom Galimov and Dmitrij Jaskin, who each scored a goal in the win. The team has won three of its last four games.

Shanghai (14-15-0), which plays as Red Star Kunlun, is looking to rebound from a 7-5 loss to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk on Friday. The Dragons’ recent results have been inconsistent, including a 9-0 loss to Traktor Chelyabinsk on Wednesday, but they also secured a 3-2 overtime win against SKA Saint Petersburg on Oct. 1.

The two teams last met on Nov. 23, with Ak Bars securing a 3-2 shootout victory in Shanghai. The Dragons will aim to avenge that narrow defeat as they continue a lengthy road stretch.

Following this game, Ak Bars will host Traktor Chelyabinsk on Wednesday, while Shanghai returns home to face Salavat Yulaev Ufa on the same day.
