MOSCOW (Interstat) — Traktor Chelyabinsk (5-5-0) visits the Shanghai Dragons (6-4-0) in a Kontinental Hockey League matchup on Saturday at Municipal‘nyj Stadion Stroitel‘ in Mytishchi.

Traktor arrives after a 3-2 shootout loss to Dynamo Moscow on Thursday. Defenseman Logan Day scored a goal in the defeat, while Jordan Gross added an assist. The team has alternated wins and losses over its last five games.

The Dragons enter on a three-game winning streak, most recently defeating SKA Saint Petersburg 3-2 in overtime on Wednesday. Shanghai has found success on its extended road trip, going 4-1-0 in its last five contests away from home.

Saturday’s game pits two teams near the middle of the KHL’s standings. Traktor’s offense has been inconsistent, while Shanghai has shown resilience, winning two of its last three games in overtime.

The contest is the first of a two-game Russian road stint for Shanghai, which next plays at Spartak Moscow on Tuesday. Traktor continues a road swing at Dinamo Minsk on Monday.
