SEOUL (Interstat) — The LG Twins defeated the visiting NC Dinos 6-1 on Tuesday at Jamsil Stadium in the evening, using a four-run inning and single runs in the first and fifth. LG finished with 11 hits to NC’s seven. NC scored once in the first. Park Si-won earned the win after allowing one earned run on five hits over 5 1/3 innings, walking two and striking out four. Austin Dean went 1 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs, while Song Chan-eui had two hits, a home run and one RBI. Choi Woo-seok pitched two scoreless innings for NC with three strikeouts. Kim Young-woo and Woo Kang-hoon each added a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. Lee Jun-hyeok and Son Ju-hwan also worked scoreless relief for the Dinos. Jang Hyun-sik struck out three in a scoreless inning, and Go Woo-suk recorded the final two outs. Attendance was 23,750. NC fell to 59-74-2, while LG improved to 72-62-2.
