NC pitcher Lee Jae-hak is a player to watch. In his most recent outing against Shinsegae, Lee pitched one inning with no hits, no earned runs and one strikeout. He worked two innings at Doosan, allowing four hits, three earned runs, two walks and one strikeout. Against Samsung, Lee gave up three hits and two earned runs in two innings with two strikeouts. At Lotte, he pitched 2 1/3 innings, yielding five hits and two earned runs with one walk. NC was shut out 9-0 by Shinsegae in its most recent game. Choi Yo-han allowed one earned run in 1 1/3 innings with three strikeouts, Lim Jung-ho pitched a scoreless inning and Lee added a scoreless inning.

LG pitcher Anders Tolhurst is a player to watch. Tolhurst allowed two earned runs over five innings with two walks and two strikeouts in his last start against Kia. He pitched three innings at Shinsegae, giving up four hits, three earned runs, one walk and one strikeout. Against Lotte, he lasted 4 2/3 innings, allowing 11 hits and five earned runs with one walk and four strikeouts. At KT, Tolhurst worked six innings, scattering five hits and one earned run with seven strikeouts. LG lost 6-4 to Kia in its most recent game. Kim Kang-ryul threw a scoreless inning with one strikeout, and Lee Woo-chan added a scoreless inning with one walk.

NC has lost six of its last seven games. The Dinos scored 13 runs in a win over Shinsegae, then lost their next two games by scores of 6-2 and 9-0. They also dropped three straight at Doosan.
