BUSAN, South Korea (Interstat) — The Lotte Giants defeated the Kia Tigers 11-3 on Wednesday evening at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium, completing the game in eight innings. Lotte scored in four of the first four innings, building a 7-0 lead. Jo-jo Reyes drove in two runs with a sacrifice fly and a double, and later singled in another run. Han Tae-yang had a two-run single in a four-run fourth inning. The Tigers scored twice in the sixth on RBI singles by Na Sung-bum and Han Jun-su. Lotte added two more in the eighth on Kim Min-jun’s home run. The Giants outhit the Tigers 17-11. Lotte pitchers Na Gyun-an, Hyeon Do-hoon, Iimura Shota, Lee Min-seok and Kim Gang-hyun combined to hold Kia to three runs. Kia starter Kim Beom-su took the loss. The attendance was 21,792. Lotte improved to 38-44, while Kia fell to 44-39-2.
