SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — Park Jun-soon drove in four runs Saturday night as the Doosan Bears defeated the Kiwoom Heroes 8-5 at Gocheok Sky Dome. Park doubled and scored in the third inning, homered in the fourth, tripled in the sixth and added a sacrifice fly in the eighth.

Doosan scored two runs in the third, three in the fourth, two in the sixth and one in the eighth. Kiwoom answered with four runs in the sixth on singles by An Chi-hong and Park Chan-hyeok and a two-run single by Kim Dong-heon. Kim later homered in the eighth.

The Bears had nine hits; the Heroes had 10. Attendance was 16,000. The game lasted 3 hours, 36 minutes. Choi Seung-yong earned the win for Doosan, which improved to 41-40-2. Kiwoom fell to 29-54-2. The teams conclude their series Sunday.
