SEOUL (Interstat) — Doosan Bears defeated the LG Twins 3-2 on Thursday night at Jamsil Stadium before 22,805 fans. The Bears improved to 15-18-1, while the Twins fell to 21-12-2.

LG struck first in the second inning when Park Dong-won singled to right, scoring Park Hae-min. Doosan answered in the eighth. Park Ji-hoon singled to left, driving in two runs, and Park Jun-soon followed with an RBI single to right. The Twins narrowed the gap in the bottom half on a slow-roller infield single by Park Hae-min that scored Austin Dean.

Starter Choi Min-seok tossed five innings for Doosan, allowing one earned run on five hits with eight strikeouts. Lee Byeong-heon (1-1) pitched a scoreless seventh for the win, and Lee Young-ha earned his second save with 1 1/3 hitless innings. LG starter Anders Tolhurst (4-2) took the loss, surrendering three earned runs over 7 1/3 innings.

Each team recorded eight hits. Park Jun-soon led Doosan with three hits and an RBI, while Park Ji-hoon drove in two runs.
