DAEGU, South Korea (Interstat) — Park Seong-han’s RBI single in the 10th inning lifted the Shinsegae Landers over the Samsung Lions 5-4 on Tuesday night at Daegu Samsung Lions Park.

The Landers scored twice in the fourth for a 3-1 lead, but the Lions chipped away, tying the game in the seventh. Samsung loaded the bases in the ninth but failed to score. Winning pitcher Jo Byeong-hyeon recorded the final five outs in relief for Shinsegae. Miyaji Yura took the loss for Samsung, allowing the decisive run in the 10th. Jeon Young-jun earned the save.

Despite being outhit 11-8, the Landers improved to 11-8. The Lions fell to 12-6-1 before a crowd of 23,420.
