SEOUL (Interstat) — Austin Dean’s solo home run in the eighth inning broke a tie and lifted the LG Twins to a 2-1 victory over the Lotte Giants on Tuesday night at Jamsil Stadium.

The game-winning blast to left field came off Lotte reliever Park Jeong-min and made a winner of the LG bullpen after starter Song Seung-ki tossed six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out five before a crowd of 23,750.

Lotte’s Na Gyun-an was nearly as sharp, yielding one run over 5 2/3 innings. The Giants tied it in the seventh on Jeon Min-jae’s RBI single, scoring Han Tae-yang. Dean finished 3 for 4, while Moon Bo-gyeong had an RBI single for LG in the first.

The Twins improved to 10-4, while the Giants fell to 5-9.
