DAEGU, South Korea (Interstat) — The Samsung Lions completed a three-game sweep of the NC Dinos with a 9-3 victory Sunday afternoon at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. A crowd of 24,000 watched the Lions pound out 14 hits.

Lewin Díaz led the charge for Samsung, going 3-for-5 with a solo home run in the eighth inning and three RBIs. The Lions erased an early 3-0 deficit with a three-run second inning, highlighted by a Koo Ja-wook RBI triple, and never trailed again.

NC’s Oh Young-soo and Lee Woo-sung hit back-to-back homers in the sixth to pull within a run, but Samsung added insurance late. Winning pitcher Won Tae-in and four relievers held the Dinos to six hits. NC fell to 6-7, while Samsung improved to 8-4-1.
