SUWON-SI, South Korea (Interstat) — The KT Wiz defeated the Doosan Bears 6-4 on Saturday afternoon at Suwon Baseball Stadium, overcoming an early deficit with timely hitting and strong relief pitching before a crowd of 18,700.

Starter So Hyeong-jun delivered a key performance for the Wiz, allowing two earned runs over seven innings with seven strikeouts to earn the win. Ahn Hyun-min led the offense, going 3 for 4 with a go-ahead solo home run in the fifth inning and two RBIs. Park Yeong-hyun secured the save with two perfect innings of relief.

The Bears took a 4-0 lead, highlighted by a two-run single from An Jae-seok in the eighth, but the Wiz chipped away with a three-run third inning. Lee Gang-min’s eighth-inning groundout drove in the decisive run. The victory improved KT’s record to 8-4-1, while Doosan fell to 4-7-1.
