SEOUL (Interstat) — The Lotte Giants scored twice in the 10th inning to defeat the Kiwoom Heroes 3-1 on Saturday at Gocheok Sky Dome.

A pitchers’ duel saw Kiwoom’s Wiles and Lotte’s Beasley each allow just one run over seven and six innings, respectively. The game was tied 1-1 from the second through the eighth.

Lotte broke through in the 10th. Han Dong-hui drove in the go-ahead run on a fielder’s choice, and Park Seung-wook added an insurance RBI single.

Four Lotte relievers combined for four perfect innings of relief. The Giants (5-7) won their second straight, while the Heroes (3-9) lost before a crowd of 16,000.
