EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (Interstat) — The Stockton Kings edged the South Bay Lakers 101-97 in a G League game Sunday at UCLA Health Training Center.

Stockton built a 55-56 halftime lead behind a combined 55 points from DaQuan Jeffries and Jameer Nelson. South Bay’s R.J. Davis kept pace with 28 points. The Kings maintained a narrow margin through the second half, with Gabe Levin securing a critical double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds to seal the win.

The victory improved Stockton’s record to 35-17, while South Bay fell to 35-18.
