Rip City vs. Austin

AUSTIN, Texas (Interstat) — The surging Austin Spurs, owners of the G League’s second-best record, will host the Rip City Remix in a Western Conference matchup on Wednesday night at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

Austin (33-14) enters on a three-game winning streak, most recently defeating the Noblesville Mad Ants 117-97 on the road Sunday. Guard Adam Flagler powered that victory with 29 points, eight assists and four rebounds. Over his last 10 games, Flagler is averaging 16.1 points and 6.2 assists, showcasing the backcourt efficiency that has fueled the Spurs’ success.

The visiting Rip City Remix (26-22) are looking to build momentum after a 115-107 home win over Raptors 905 on Saturday. Shooting guard Javonte Cooke led the way with 26 points, continuing a strong individual stretch. In his last eight games, Cooke has averaged 19.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists, serving as a primary offensive engine for the Remix.

The teams will meet again in Cedar Park on Friday, adding immediate stakes to this midweek contest. Austin holds a commanding lead in the standings, but Rip City has shown a capacity for high-scoring performances, eclipsing 130 points twice in recent weeks. The Remix will need that offensive firepower to challenge a Spurs squad that has won 10 of its last 13 games.

Key to the matchup will be the backcourt duel between Austin’s Flagler and Rip City’s Cooke, both of whom facilitate and score. Inside, the Remix will rely on center Yang Hansen, who posted a 14-point, 11-rebound, three-block double-double on Saturday. The Spurs counter with forward Harrison Ingram, who is coming off a 15-point, 12-rebound performance.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday.
