WASHINGTON (Interstat) — The Capital City Go-Go defeated the Long Island Nets 127-120 in overtime on Sunday in a G League contest at CareFirst Arena.

Capital City built a 79-64 halftime lead behind a 43-point first quarter but saw it erased as Long Island surged after halftime. The Nets outscored the Go-Go 34-19 in the third quarter to tie the game and force an extra period. The Go-Go controlled overtime, holding Long Island scoreless while netting seven points to secure the win.

With the victory, Capital City improved to 25-23 this season. Long Island fell to 25-21.
