Maine Celtics Dominate Cleveland Charge in High-Scoring G League Affair

PORTLAND, Maine (Interstat) — The Maine Celtics used a dominant first quarter to cruise past the Cleveland Charge 121-91 in a G League game Sunday at the Portland Exposition Building.

Maine established control early, erupting for 41 points in the opening period to build a substantial lead it would not relinquish. The Celtics’ offense maintained its pace, while Cleveland struggled after halftime, scoring only 32 points in the second half.

Kendall Brown led a balanced Maine attack. The Celtics improved to 25-23 with the victory. Cleveland, which got 31 points from Tristan Enaruna, fell to 29-17. The teams will meet again in Portland on Tuesday.
