MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (Interstat) — Markelle Fultz’s driving layup with four seconds remaining lifted Raptors 905 to a 123-122 G League victory over the Motor City Cruise on Tuesday afternoon at Hershey Centre.

The Cruise led by as many as 11 in the second quarter, but the Raptors, who entered with the league’s best record, chipped away. The teams traded the lead nine times in a tight second half featuring 15 ties. Fultz’s decisive basket answered a go-ahead jumper by Motor City’s Jaden Akins with a minute left.

Isaac Jones led the Cruise with a game-high 38 points. A.J. Lawson paced Raptors 905 with 31 points. The Raptors improved to 34-12, while the Cruise fell to 23-21.
