Kings Hold Off Furious Spurs Rally for Narrow G League Road Victory

LEANDER, Texas (Interstat) — The Stockton Kings survived a late Austin surge to edge the Spurs 106-104 in a G League contest Sunday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

Stockton built a 15-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but Austin erupted for 40 points in the final period. The Spurs’ comeback bid fell just short in the closing seconds. Dexter Dennis and Isaiah Stevens led a balanced Stockton attack, while Kyle Mangas fueled Austin’s frantic rally.

The Kings improved to 28-15. The Spurs fell to 31-13.
