Westchester vs. Noblesville
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Westchester Knicks and Noblesville Boom, two teams looking to halt slides in the G League standings, will meet Saturday at the Arena at Innovation Mile.
Westchester (11-30) enters on a two-game losing streak after a 124-120 home loss to Raptors 905 on Thursday. The Knicks have lost five of their last seven. Noblesville (19-25) has dropped four consecutive games, most recently a 135-128 road defeat against Motor City on Wednesday.
The matchup features two of the league’s most productive guards in recent weeks. Westchester’s Dillon Jones is averaging 17.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.7 assists over his last seven games, including a 21-point, 10-assist performance in Thursday’s loss. His playmaking will be central to the Knicks’ offense.
Noblesville will counter with Cameron Hildreth, who is averaging 22.8 points over his last six contests. The guard is coming off back-to-back 30-point outings against Motor City, scoring 28 points on March 11 and 30 on March 10. His scoring burst will be vital for a Boom team that has struggled defensively during its skid.
In their last outing, Westchester saw strong contributions from Nick Jourdain (22 points, six rebounds) and Paul Zilinskas (19 points, five rebounds) alongside Jones. Noblesville, in its loss, received a 23-point, 10-rebound double-double from Keion Brooks and 19 points and seven assists from DaJuan Gordon.
The game is the first of a two-game set between the teams, with a rematch scheduled for Sunday at the same venue. For Westchester, it begins a stretch of three games in four days. For Noblesville, it’s a chance to stabilize before a three-game road trip next week.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. EDT Saturday.
