Memphis vs. Iowa
Iowa Wolves Host Memphis Hustle in G League Showdown
DES MOINES, Iowa (Interstat) — The Iowa Wolves, riding a surge in the standings, will host the struggling Memphis Hustle in a G League matchup on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Wolves (24-17) enter on a two-game winning streak after a high-scoring road sweep of Rip City, including a 136-117 victory on Wednesday. Guard Zyon Pullin has been instrumental, averaging 28.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists over his last four games. His 29-point, 9-assist performance keyed the latest win.
In contrast, the Hustle (13-29) are looking to rebound from a 119-82 home loss to Sioux Falls on Thursday. Memphis has lost eight of its last ten games. Center Orlando Robinson remains a bright spot, posting a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds in the defeat. He averaged 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds over his last two contests.
This will be the second meeting between the teams this season. Iowa won the first matchup decisively, 127-109, on Jan. 24 in Des Moines.
The Wolves have found an offensive rhythm, scoring 122 points or more in four of their last five games. Alongside Pullin, center Rocco Zikarsky is coming off a 27-point, 11-rebound, 5-block performance.
Memphis, which allows a league-worst 119.3 points per game, will need to contain that firepower. Beyond Robinson, guard Charlie Brown Jr. scored 16 points in the loss to Sioux Falls.
Iowa sits firmly in playoff contention, while Memphis faces an uphill battle in the final month of the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time.
