PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Rip City Remix escaped with a 126-125 victory over the Valley Suns on Saturday at Chiles Center, decided by a Javonte Cooke free throw with eight-tenths of a second remaining. The G League contest featured 18 lead changes and neither team led by more than nine points.

Valley’s C.J. Huntley and Jaden Shackelford combined for strong performances, but Rip City’s balanced attack, led by Chris Youngblood and Yang Hansen, secured the win. The Suns fell to 12-30. The Remix improved to 24-18.
