The Cruise built a five-point lead after the first quarter and exploded for 42 points in the third to pull away decisively. Greensboro, which entered the game with a 29-12 record, could not contain Motor City’s offensive surge despite a 36-point second quarter.

The victory improved Motor City’s record to 21-20. The Swarm fell to 29-13. Interstat’s ELO system had projected Greensboro with an 84.5% probability to win.
