Rip City Outlasts Valley in High-Scoring G League Affair

PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Rip City Remix outgunned the Valley Suns 132-122 in a G League contest Friday night at Chiles Center.

The Remix, improving to 23-18, never trailed after a 35-point first quarter. The Suns, who fell to 12-29, kept pace offensively but could not overcome the early deficit despite scoring 33 points in both the third and fourth quarters.

Rip City’s offense proved too potent, led by center Yang Hansen and guard Caleb Love. Valley guard Jaden Shackelford spearheaded a persistent effort for the visitors, who have lost three of their last four games. The teams meet again in Portland on Saturday.
