PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Iowa Wolves built a commanding early lead and never looked back, defeating the Rip City Remix 122-95 in a G League game Monday night at Chiles Center.

Iowa dominated the first quarter, outscoring Rip City 37-15, and maintained a double-digit advantage throughout. The Wolves’ offense was consistent across all four periods, while the Remix could not overcome the slow start despite a 37-point second quarter.

The victory improved Iowa’s record to 23-17. Rip City fell to 22-17. The teams will meet again in Portland on Wednesday. Interstat’s ELO system had projected Rip City with a 69.5% probability to win.
