Motor City Outlasts Oklahoma City in High-Scoring G League Affair

OKLAHOMA CITY (Interstat) — The Motor City Cruise edged the Oklahoma City Blue 129-121 in a G League contest Sunday at Cox Convention Center.

The Cruise built a multi-possession lead by halftime and maintained it through a second-half shootout. Motor City improved to 20-20. Oklahoma City, led by Brooks Barnhizer’s versatile performance, fell to 13-26 despite a 33-point first quarter. The Blue’s late push narrowed the gap, but the Cruise secured the win at the free-throw line in the final minute. Isaac Jones anchored Motor City’s effort. Interstat’s ELO system had projected Oklahoma City with a 51% probability to win.
