Sioux Falls vs. Osceola

Preview: Skyforce Face Tall Task Against Magic in G League Showdown

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The surging Osceola Magic, boasting one of the G League’s best records, will host the Sioux Falls Skyforce at Silver Spurs Arena on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in a matchup of teams on divergent tracks.

Osceola (25-12) enters as a heavy favorite, having won eight of its last 10 games and coming off a 128-111 victory over the Cleveland Charge on Friday. The Magic’s success is fueled by consistent backcourt play, notably from Lester Quinones. He is averaging 25.6 points over his last seven games, including a 29-point performance in Thursday’s loss to Cleveland.

The Skyforce (21-18), however, have been inconsistent, alternating wins and losses in their recent stretch. Their fortunes often hinge on the explosive output of guard Josh Christopher. He is in the midst of a torrid scoring run, averaging 27.9 points over his last eight contests. Christopher dropped a season-high 44 points in just 31 minutes in Sioux Falls’ most recent game, a 141-115 rout of the Valley Vipers on Feb. 22.

Despite Christopher’s heroics, Sioux Falls faces a significant challenge. Interstat’s ELO system projects Osceola with a 79.5% probability to win. The Magic have been strong at home and possess a more balanced record, while the Skyforce have struggled defensively, allowing an average of 119.3 points in their last six games.

This contest is the first of a quick two-game set between the teams, who will meet again at Silver Spurs Arena on Tuesday. For Sioux Falls, containing Quinones and finding secondary scoring behind Christopher will be critical. For Osceola, maintaining their disciplined home-court form against a volatile but dangerous opponent is the task.

Tipoff is set for Sunday afternoon in Central Florida.
