Cleveland vs. Osceola
Preview: Cleveland Charge at Osceola Magic
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — A compelling matchup of Eastern Conference contenders unfolds Thursday when the Cleveland Charge visit the Osceola Magic in a G League clash at Silver Spurs Arena.
The game features two of the league’s hottest teams. Osceola (24-11) enters with the superior record, having won eight of its last 10 games, including a 109-97 victory at Grand Rapids on Monday. Cleveland (23-13) has been nearly as potent, winning seven of its last 10 despite a 114-122 road loss to Westchester on Feb. 21.
All eyes will be on a duel between two standout forwards. Cleveland’s Tristan Enaruna is coming off a historic near-triple-double, pouring in 31 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing 9 assists in 39 minutes against Westchester. Over his last five games, he is averaging 23.4 points and 7.2 rebounds, serving as the Charge’s offensive engine.
He will be matched by Osceola’s versatile Alex Morales, who posted 22 points, six rebounds and five assists in the win over Grand Rapids. Morales has been a model of consistency, scoring in double figures in 14 consecutive games and averaging 19.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists over his last seven contests.
The teams are familiar opponents, having just faced each other on Wednesday. That result was not provided, adding an element of immediate adjustment and rivalry to this second leg of a back-to-back.
Beyond the star forwards, both squads boast depth. Cleveland’s Riley Minix is coming off a 29-point performance, while Osceola’s Colin Castleton (20 points, 9 rebounds on Monday) and Lester Quinones (27 points on Monday) provide significant firepower.
With both teams jockeying for playoff positioning in the conference, Thursday’s contest promises high-paced action. Osceola will look to defend its home court and solidify its standing, while Cleveland aims to bounce back from its recent loss and prove its mettle against a top-tier opponent.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. EST. The Charge return home to host Windy City on March 3, while the Magic will host Sioux Falls on March 1.
