Cleveland vs. Noblesville
Preview: Charge, Boom Set for G League Showdown in Noblesville
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Interstat) — The surging Cleveland Charge visit the Noblesville Boom on Thursday night in a G League matchup featuring two of the league’s most productive big men.
Cleveland (22-12) enters the contest at the Arena at Innovation Mile riding a wave of offensive success, having won seven of its last nine games. The Charge average 128.3 points per game during that stretch, powered by forward Norchad Omier. Omier is averaging a double-double over his last 10 games, with 21.6 points and 13.2 rebounds per contest. He posted 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in Cleveland’s most recent outing, a 134-124 win over Raptors 905 on Feb. 12.
Noblesville (18-17) looks to build momentum after a narrow 130-129 victory over College Park on Feb. 12. The Boom are led by versatile center Jalen Slawson, who is coming off a 29-point, seven-rebound, six-assist performance. Slawson has recorded two triple-doubles in his last 10 games and provides all-around production, averaging 14.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists in that span.
The season series is tied 1-1. Noblesville won the first meeting 140-128 on Dec. 3, 2025, but Cleveland responded with a 114-102 victory two days later on Dec. 5.
The game pits Cleveland’s high-octane offense, which has scored 140 or more points three times in February, against a Noblesville squad that has won five of its last seven. The Boom will need a strong defensive effort to slow Omier and Cleveland’s Riley Minix, who scored 27 points in the last game.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST. Cleveland continues a road trip Saturday at Westchester, while Noblesville hosts Capital City on Saturday.
