Westchester Outlasts Grand Rapids in High-Scoring G League Affair
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Westchester Knicks edged the Grand Rapids Gold 124-119 in a G League contest Thursday night at Westchester County Center. The Knicks built an early lead with 41 first-quarter points and held off multiple rallies from the Gold.
Westchester improved its season record to 8-27. Grand Rapids, which got 37 points from Dane Goodwin, fell to 17-18. The outcome defied a national statistical projection that had favored Grand Rapids by 22 points. The Knicks next host Cleveland on Saturday.
