Grand Rapids vs. Westchester
Preview: Gold Visit Knicks in G League Showdown
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Grand Rapids Gold, hovering at .500, look to capitalize on a favorable matchup when they visit the struggling Westchester Knicks on Thursday night at Westchester County Center.
The Gold (17-17) enter the contest following a tough 116-111 road loss to the Windy City Bulls on Feb. 12, despite a monstrous performance from center Moses Brown. Westchester (7-27) seeks to halt a three-game skid, most recently falling 106-104 to the Valley Suns on Feb. 10.
All eyes will be on the paint, where Grand Rapids’ Brown and Westchester’s Isaiah Roby are set for a pivotal duel. Brown has been on a historic tear, averaging 23.4 points and 14.3 rebounds over his last seven games. He is coming off a 26-point, 20-rebound, five-block effort in his last outing, marking his third 20-20 game in that stretch.
Roby has been a consistent bright spot for the Knicks, posting a double-double in two of his last four contests. He logged 16 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two blocks against Valley, showcasing his versatile two-way game.
Grand Rapids has shown potent offense, scoring 135 points in a win at Windy City on Feb. 11, but has been inconsistent defensively during a 3-4 stretch over its last seven. Curtis Jones (23 points vs. Windy City) and Kessler Edwards provide supplementary scoring.
Westchester, which has lost 10 of its last 12, will lean on Roby and recent contributors Pacome Dadiet (21 points vs. Valley) and Dink Pate (12 points, 11 rebounds) to spark an upset at home.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Gold are projected to win decisively, 122-100.
The game tips off at 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026.
