WILMINGTON, Del. (Interstat) — The Long Island Nets built a commanding early lead and never trailed, defeating the Delaware Blue Coats 123-107 in a G League game Thursday afternoon at 76ers Fieldhouse.

Long Island established control with a 30-point first quarter and extended its advantage by halftime, leading 66-47. The Nets’ offense remained consistent throughout, thwarting any sustained comeback attempt from Delaware, which was outscored in three of the four periods.

The victory improved Long Island’s record to 20-16, while Delaware fell to 14-19. The Nets have now won three consecutive meetings between the teams this season.
