Windy City Rallies With 43-Point Fourth Quarter to Edge Long Island

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (Interstat) — The Windy City Bulls overcame a 14-point deficit with a furious fourth-quarter rally to defeat the Long Island Nets 133-127 in a G League game Friday night at Sears Centre. The Bulls, who trailed 102-90 entering the final period, exploded for 43 points to complete the comeback and split a two-game series after losing by 20 a night earlier. Long Island’s E.J. Liddell led all scorers, but a balanced Windy City attack, led by Mac McClung and Yuki Kawamura, secured the win. The Bulls improved to 16-15, while the Nets fell to 18-15.
