Magic Outlast Boom in High-Scoring G League Showdown

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The Osceola Magic held off the Noblesville Boom 119-114 in a G League contest Friday at Silver Spurs Arena. The Magic, who led by as many as 15 in the first half, saw a 19-point third-quarter lead for the Boom evaporate under a 38-point fourth-quarter rally.

Osceola improved to 22-10 while Noblesville fell to .500 at 16-16. Lester Quinones keyed the Magic’s final push with a series of critical baskets and free throws down the stretch. The Boom’s Gabe McGlothan and Jalen Slawson provided consistent offense, but the team could not sustain its momentum from a 34-point third quarter.

The game was a reversal from Wednesday, when Noblesville won 129-117 on the same court.
