SAN ANTONIO (Interstat) — The Austin Spurs defeated the Texas Legends 104-95 in a G League game Wednesday afternoon at Frost Bank Center. The Spurs improved to 22-8, while the Legends fell to 13-19.

Austin used a dominant 30-point second quarter to build a 53-44 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half. Texas mounted a challenge with a 27-point fourth quarter but could not close the gap. James Banks led the Spurs’ effort.

The victory followed the statistical prediction favoring Austin. The teams split two previous meetings in December.
