UNIONDALE, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Long Island Nets outlasted the Motor City Cruise 112-106 in a G League game Monday night at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The Nets erased an early deficit with a dominant second quarter, outscoring the Cruise 31-20 to take a 53-46 halftime lead. Long Island maintained its advantage through the second half, holding off multiple Motor City rallies. The Nets sealed the victory by making four free throws in the final 24 seconds.

With the win, Long Island improved to 16-13 this season. Motor City fell to 13-16. The teams will meet again at the same venue Wednesday.
