ATLANTA (Interstat) — The Maine Celtics built a large early lead and withstood a furious second-half rally by the College Park Skyhawks to earn a 112-103 victory in the G League on Sunday at Gateway Center.

Maine led by 21 points at halftime, but College Park outscored the Celtics by 14 in the second half behind a surge from its perimeter players. The Skyhawks’ comeback attempt fell short as Maine secured the win to improve to 16-10. College Park dropped to 8-18.

The teams will meet again in College Park on Wednesday.
